100MW photovoltaic EPC project in Wangqing

The project is the largest industrial poverty alleviation project in Wangqing County with a total investment of 119.1 million dollars and covers an area of 335 hectares. It is estimated to generate 124 million kWh of electricity annually and provide 1.81 million dollars of funds for poverty alleviation annually, and will achieve the goal of helping 4,000 households out of poverty. The project is an effective means of promoting the continuous increase of incomes of the poor households and has been given strong support and assistance from relevant agencies such as the Wangqing County Government. This is a positive response to the call for the country's energy restructuring and sustainable development. It is also a strong support for the country's implementation of precision poverty alleviation and precision poverty alleviation.


The 100MW photovoltaic EPC project is located inWangqing County of southeastern Jilin province, China. It is under the administration of the Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, meantime it’s a mountainous area with an average elevation of 806 meters. It belongs to the continental temperate zone with many windy winters. The duration of winter is long and summer is short, the seasons are distinct with large vertical variations. The annual average temperature is 3.9℃, the annual average rainfall is 580 mm, the frost-free period is 110-141 days and the annual sunshine duration is 2,700 hours .


CYG has undertaken the complete EPC including design and supply of all component of the PV generation step-up substation.
