CYG Sunri Assisted the Commissioning of Xinjiang Shanshan (Turpan-Hami) 750kV Power Transmission and Transformation Project

On March 29, 2022, Shanshan (Turpan-Hami) 750kV power transmission and transformation project, in which CYG Sunri was responsible for secondary equipment integration, was officially put into operation. This was the first EHV power grid project in Xinjiang this year. The smooth operation of the project will not only meet the increasing local electricity load demand, improve the 750kV main network structure in eastern Xinjiang, but also solve the problem that the local new energy delivery is blocked, improve the power supply reliability of electrified railways, and lays a solid foundation for building a new grid pattern of "seven-ring network for internal supply and six channels for external transmission" and the task of power grid transformation and upgrading.

As the secondary equipment integrator of the substation, CYG Sunri provides it with integrated monitoring systems that have multiple functions, safe and stable protection devices, on-line monitoring devices of lightning arresters and intelligent terminals. In addition, the project also applies the "one-key sequence control" technology provided by CYG Sunri. It is the first 750kV substation project in Xinjiang where the equipment is loaded with "one-key sequence control" technology, which realizes the transformation of substation switching operation from "manual item-by-item operation" to "computer remote automatic operation”, providing a solid foundation and excellent implementation experience for Xinjiang main network in promoting the deep integration of modern information technology and power grid technology and building an intelligent operation inspection system.

Shanshan County is located in the Gobi Desert region, with poor communication conditions and inconvenient transportation. Sandstorms frequently occur. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the arrival and commissioning of materials have been greatly affected. Despite the harsh external conditions, CYG Sunri actively responded to the COVID-19 prevention and control policies, coordinated delivery matters, and finally successfully ensured the progress of the project and assisted the project to be put into operation smoothly.
