Recently, the awarding ceremony of China Electric Power Science and Technology Awards was grandly held in Beijing, and the project "Key Technologies, Systems and Applications of Active Distribution Network Operation & Control and Reliability Planning" jointly submitted by Tsinghua University, CYGSUNRI and other units won the first prize of 2020 China Electric Power Science and Technology Progress Award.
China Electric Power Science and Technology Progress Award is one of the first batch of 26 awards set by social forces and approved after the reform of national science and technology awards. The Award is granted once a year to units and individuals who have made outstanding contributions in applying and popularizing advanced scientific and technological achievements and completing major scientific and technological engineering, projects and plans in the electric power field.
CYGSUNRI participated in the research on real-time modeling and evaluation of active distribution network, self-healing control and dispatching decision of active distribution network, distribution network simulation and other related technologies, and jointly developed the "Master Station System and Slave Station System of Distribution Network Dispatching and Emergency Repair Command under the Cooperative Control of Transmission and Distribution" and the "Dispatcher Training Simulation System". At present, these achievements have been popularized and applied in more than 20 distribution networks and more than 400 new energy plants and stations in China, which have been widely praised by users of State Grid, China Southern Power Grid and various industries, achieving remarkable economic and social benefits.
This award is not only a recognition of CYGSUNRI's technical strength, but also an affirmation and encouragement of the industry-university-research cooperation achievements driven by this project. CYGSUNRI will continue to adhere to technological innovation and make greater contributions to the development and technological progress of distribution network.
