Recently, CYGSUNRI successfully won the bid for the second batch of two grid-side energy storage power stations in Jiangsu, and it will provide energy storage monitoring and energy management systems and secondary integrated automation equipment for the power stations. Since winning the bid for the first batch of grid-side energy storage power station projects in Jiangsu, CYGSUNRI has participated in the construction of grid-side energy storage projects in several provinces. Combined with the characteristics of power grids and the experience of station construction in different regions, CYGSUNRI adopted different optimization schemes, explored and innovated the key technical routes of operation control and energy management of energy storage power stations in practice, and made important contributions to the development of energy storage industry.
The project is located in Jinhu County, Huai'an City, Jiangsu Province, including the Guantang (15.12 MW/26.4 MWh) and Honghu (40.32 MW/70.4 MWh) energy storage power stations, with a total capacity of about 55.44 MW/96.8 MWh. After the project is completed and put into operation, it will provide various services for power grid operation, such as peak shaving, frequency regulation, standby, black start and demand-side response, which will help Jinhu County greatly improve the penetration rate of new energy and the utilization capacity of power grid, and promote the formation of an energy network with the coordinated development and integrated complementarity of "source-network-load-storage" in Huai'an area.
