On December 18, 2018, the overseas PV EPC project of CYG SUNRI—Columbia 117kWp PREMEX Rooftop PV Project was successfully put into operation and provided power transmission.
This project was located in Medellin, the capital of Antioquia Province in Colombia. Medellin is the second largest city in Colombia, which is also an important city with universities as well as rigorous commercial, industrial and technological development in Antioquia Province. With an altitude of 1541 m and an average annual temperature of 21.5 ℃, Medellin has a pleasant climate, with spring-like weathers all year round.
As the EPC general contractor of this project, CYG SUNRI was responsible of various links, from initial survey, scheme design to production procurement, ocean transportation, installation and construction, and station commissioning, providing complete high-quality and professional services. In the project tracking stage, the CYG SUNRI project team carried out comprehensive communication with the customer's teams in Singapore, Colombia and Spain regarding related technical and business issues, closely followed the requirements of customer, and reached a cooperative relationship via active guidance. During the negotiation process, the project team demonstrated its profound technical strength to our customer, provided technical solutions in line with international standards, and showed a sincere attitude, which won the customer's trust. In the procurement stage, with its rich experiences of international projects, CYG SUNRI carried out efficient and professional communications with domestic and foreign equipment suppliers from China, Singapore, Italy and Colombia, and purchased required equipment in a timely and high-quality manner to ensure the delivery of project.
Construction of this project officially started on November 21, 2018, and the construction period coincided with the rainy season in Medellin. With its profound experiences, CYG SUNRI completed the project construction safely and efficiently with high-quality performances through friendly communication and coordination with local construction parties and owners and under patient and professional technical guidance. Scheduled power transmission was guaranteed, and this project won high praise from the customer.
The PRS-3000G PV monitoring system of CYG SUNRI was adopted in this project, which was built based on the latest cloud system. This monitoring system can achieve local collection and remote monitoring of information, which provided a good case for the access of subsequent projects, and fully demonstrated the advantages of CYG SUNRI in the field of power system automation.
