CYG SUNRI Wins the Bid for the Phase I Demonstration Project of Changsha Battery Energy Storage Power Station

CYG SUNRI was successfully shortlisted and finally won the bid for the secondary equipment (EMSs, station-end computer monitoring systems, communication equipment, etc.) of the A01-1 Changsha Furong Energy Storage Power Station Project.

After CYG SUNRI contributed to the successful grid connection of the State Grid’s Changwang Energy Storage Station (8MW/16MWh) in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu, it won the bid for the Phase I Demonstration Project of Changsha Battery Energy Storage Power Station. The success fully demonstrated CYG SUNRI's extraordinary brand influence and technical strength in the energy storage equipment and system market.

The construction unit of the Changsha Battery Energy Storage Power Station is State Grid Hunan Integrated Energy Service Co., Ltd. The capacity of the Phase I project is 60MW/120MWh, and the total investment is about 409.57 million yuan. The Phase I project was implemented in the mode of "decentralized layout and centralized control”, and was divided into three sub-projects: the Furong 220kV substation (26MW/52MWh), the Langli 220kV substation (24MW/48MWh), and the Yannong 220kV substation (10MW/20MWh).

Due to the massive access of renewable energy and distributed energy in large power grids, and the wide application of microgrids and electric vehicles, energy storage is a crucial part for coordinating the applications, and it is the key to the transformation of energy structure. As an internationally leading brand of energy technology and services, CYG SUNRI will keep providing high-quality products and services, and make every effort to build this significant project.
