On November 13th, the Onshore Centralized Control Center of CGNPC Guangdong Shanwei Houhu Offshore Wind Power Project was successfully powered. The Center is shared by Shanwei Houhu, Shanwei Jiazi No.1 and Shanwei Jiazi No.2 projects, with a total of 1.4 million kilowatts, which is currently the largest offshore wind power base in China. The 220kV Xuanfeng line of Shanwei 220 kV Houhu Offshore Wind Farm Access System Project, of which the EPC sub-project of the secondary equipment was undertaken by CYGSUNRI, was charged normally for the first time and put into operation.
The operation of this project has opened the first gird-connection channel for Houhu Offshore Wind Farm through Shanwei 220 kV Fenggang Substation, which will optimize the regional power supply structure, drive the rapid development of Shanwei offshore wind power industry and support Shanwei to build the energy base.
As the general contractor of secondary equipment in this project, CYGSUNRI provided the whole set of product systems and complete system solutions, including integrated monitoring system, integrated automation system, protective products, AGC/AVC and main control room equipment and solutions, offering a good foundation and support for the smooth operation of the project. The smooth operation of this project means that CYGSUNRI has the ability to deliver the access system engineering for large-scale offshore wind power projects.
