CYG SUNRI Wins Beijing Science and Technology Award

Recently, the winners of the 2019 Beijing Science and Technology Award were announced at the award ceremony. The project "Key Technologies and Applications of Rapid, Accurate and Highly Sensitive Gas Detection Based on Micro-chromatography" jointly submitted by CYG SUNRI, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Xi'an Jiaotong University passed several rounds of evaluations and finally won the second prize of Beijing Science and Technology Progress Award.

The " Key Technologies and Applications of Rapid, Accurate and Highly Sensitive Gas Detection Based on Micro-chromatography " submitted this time is the key technology of the gas-dissolved-in-oil monitoring device, the main product of CYGSUNRI Monitoring Technology Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of CYGSUNRI, hereinafter referred to as "SUNRI Monitoring"). As the mainstream manufacturer of oil and gas monitoring in the industry, CYGSUNRI has been actively committed to the technical development and industry expansion of substation monitoring products. Now technical problems such as poor accuracy and low sensitivity still exist in detection technology, the substation monitoring team, through their unremitting efforts, had developed the high-sensitivity detection technology of miniaturized thermal conductivity detector (μTCD). With micro-chromatography technology as the core, they have broken through the bottleneck of the existing technology, and realized the rapid, accurate and highly sensitive on-site rapid gas detection. The performance in gas detection limit, baseline noise and quantitative repeatability has reached the international advanced level.

This award is not only the recognition of CYGSUNRI's technical strength, but also the affirmation and encouragement of Beijing Municipal Government and Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission for the industrial development led by this technology. CYGSUNRI will continue to adhere to technological innovation, and we believe that the booming monitoring technology will definitely make greater contributions to the power industry.
