On February 10, the temporary medical station for pandemic prevention in Fenghuangshan Branch of the No.5 Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University in Zhuhai was successfully connected to the power grid in one shot. As the general contractor of secondary equipment of the station, CYG SUNRI guaranteed power supply for the construction of Xiaotangshan Hospital in Zhuhai.
The No.5 Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University in Zhuhai City (hereinafter referred to as "the No.5 Affiliated Hospital") is a large-scale level A tertiary general hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching and scientific research, and it is also a hospital for treating patients infected by COVID-19 virus in Zhuhai City. With the spreading pandemic, the hospital accelerated the construction of a temporary medical station for pandemic prevention in Fenghuangshan Branch, thus faster and better power supply must be guaranteed.
As the general contractor of secondary equipment of the medical station, CYG SUNRI provided relay protection equipment, monitoring systems, and professional and comprehensive secondary power solutions for the station. Moreover, the engineering service staff were stuck on their posts 24 hours a day to ensure in-time response to the users’ needs and guarantee the safety of the power grid.
The station was in a building next to the inpatient building in the isolation area of the No.5 Affiliated Hospital. After the working conditions are met, the engineering service staff entered the station and worked in strict accordance with the work specifications for power safety. They also took measures to better protect their own safety and the health of others. After entering the station, the engineering service staff made all preparations for putting the switchgear into operation, including equipment operating condition inspection, setting of fixed values, and verification of function enabling, and testing of station-end background communication function, to ensure the normal and smooth operation of the switchgear. After the incoming line switch was remotely turned on by the of dispatcher, the switchgear was electrified and the equipment in the station run normally, marking the successful operation of the switchgear in the power building of the No.5 Affiliated Hospital, and providing great power support for the construction of the temporary medical station for pandemic prevention.
