CYG SUNRI Wins Several Awards of the China Science and Technology Award of the Machinery Industry

Recently, CYG SUNRI won several awards of the 2019 China Science and Technology Award of the Machinery Industry for its "Key Technology of Intelligent Coordinated Charging of Electric Vehicles and Its Large-scale Application" and "Series Standards for Testing Methods of Protection and Control Equipment”. The China Science and Technology Award of the Mechanical Industry is a comprehensive science and technology award for the machinery industry of China. It was jointly initiated by the China Machinery Industry Federation and the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology and registered with the competent department of national science and technology awards. This award is the only one for the machinery industry that was approved by the state, and it is a main channel for enterprises in the machinery industry to apply for the National Science and Technology Progress Award. The rewarded are organizations or individuals who have made creative contributions in the science and technology of the machinery industry, and made outstanding contributions to promoting scientific and technological progress of the machinery industry and improving economic and social benefits.


Key Technology of Intelligent Coordinated Charging of Electric Vehicles and Its Large-scale Application


The project won the first prize of the 2019 China Science and Technology Award of the Machinery Industry. It was jointly submitted by Guangdong Power Grid Co., Ltd., Beijing Jiaotong University, Tsinghua University, and CYG SUNRI.


For this project, CYG SUNRI, relying on its mature experience and know-how in new energy vehicle charging technology it accumulated over the years, proposed adaptive dynamic distribution of charging power for the sub-project “High-Power Flexible Charging Complex", and developed corresponding equipment. It effectively solved the problem of intelligent cooperation between vehicles and charging piles and helped the project win the first prize. The project realizes a leap from "automation" to "intelligence" in electric vehicle charging. This is a major technological breakthrough in this field and has positive significance to and a far-reaching impact on China's upgrading and strategic development of new energy. This prize is not only proves CYG SUNRI's charging technology for new energy vehicles, but also confirms the leading position of CYG SUNRI in "high-power flexible charging complex". CYG SUNRI will keep making innovation, provide greater support for building an intelligent and coordinated high-quality charging technology system, and promote the further development of China's electric vehicle industry.


Series Standards for Testing Methods of Protection and Control Equipment


The project won the second prize of the 2019 China Science and Technology Award of the Machinery Industry. It was jointly submitted by Xuchang KETOP Testing Research Institute Co., Ltd., Xuchang KETOP Electric Research Institute Co., Ltd. and CYG SUNRI.


CYG SUNRI has long attached great importance to the construction of a standardization system. It actively participated in the preparation of a number of standards of the power industry, and win the title of “Model Enterprise of Good Practice in Standardization". The project "Series Standards for Testing Methods of Protection and Control Equipment" won the second prize of the China Science and Technology Award of the Machinery Industry. The prize recognizes CYG SUNRI's promotion of the standardization of the electrical industry and support for the transformation and development of the industry. CYG SUNRI is more assertive to take the road of standardized R&D, design and production, and promote the better development of the industry.
