On December 25, Dongguan Man Yue Samxon 2MW/5MWh distributed energy storage power station jointly invested by Dongguan CYG SUNRI Comprehensive Energy Co., Ltd. and Dongguan Guanneng Green Energy Service Co., Ltd. (“Guanneng Energy”) was officially put into operation! Major leaders from Dongguan Power Supply Bureau of Guangdong Grid, Man Yue Samxon Electronics (Dongguan) Co., Ltd., CYG SUNRI and Guanneng Energy attended the project operation ceremony.
The Man Yue Samxon 2MW/5MWh distributed energy storage power station is one of the first integrated energy demonstration projects of Guangdong Grid Corporation, and it is also the first integrated energy demonstration project put into operation.
After the project is put into operation, it can reduce the peak load of users, reduce the monthly maximum demand and reduce the basic electricity cost; In addition, peak shaving and valley filling can be implemented, and the energy storage charging and discharging strategy is adjusted according to the peak-valley electricity price difference to gain income. This station is a model cooperative project benefiting all parties. Enterprises achieve cost reduction and efficiency improvement through contract energy management; The power grid reduces the peak load and improves the safety and stability by "peak shaving and valley filling"; The government promotes economic development and builds a better image of the region by saving energy and reducing consumption.
Dongguan Man Yue Samxon 2MW/5MWh Distributed Energy Storage Power Station
As the general contractor of the project, CYG SUNRI, with its extraordinary technical strength in energy storage systems and equipment, provided the project with high-quality integrated energy storage solutions, and a complete set of core equipment independently developed and produced by it, including PCSs, BMSs, energy storage coordinated controllers and energy management systems. It will be fully responsible for the later operation and maintenance.
The solution of integrated energy storage cabins is applied to the project. The project comprises four 500kW/1.25 MWh energy storage cabins, each of which contains two sets of lithium iron phosphate batteries, a BMS, a PCS and a grid connection cabinet. The cabins are respectively connected to different busbar systems for power distribution and use. The cabins are characterized by easy construction and installation, short construction period, high system security, and flexible system.
CYG SUNRI’s Series Energy Storage Products
The construction of the Man Yue Samxon 2MW/5MWh distributed energy storage power station project in Dongguan was officially commenced in September this year. After receiving the task, CYG SUNRI immediately started producing energy storage products according to strict standards and quality requirements. In order to ensure safe and efficient implementation on the project site, the joint commissioning of the energy storage system in the factory was carried out at the same time. The project management team and SUNRI’s commissioning team worked day and night to control the product safety, quality and project progress. Finally, the project successfully passed the acceptance inspection of Dongguan Power Supply Bureau and the project owner in one shot.
Energy storage is an essential part in the development of clean energy and smart energy in the future, and it is also the key supporting technology for energy structure adjustment, and power system transformation and upgrading. In recent years, CYG SUNRI participated in the construction of several energy storage projects. It can construct user-side energy storage systems in all scenarios, provide all products required by energy storage systems, and complete EPC tasks and turnkey projects.
