Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology and other ministries and commissions jointly issued the Document [2019] No.36, which contains the Notice on Issuing the List of Newly Recognized National Enterprise Technology Centers (the 25th batch) in 2018 and All National Enterprise Technology Centers. CYG SUNRI was included in the 25th batch of National Enterprise Technology Centers after review, screening and recommendation. It is one of the two short-listed enterprises in Shenzhen.
“National Enterprise Technology Center” is one of the highest-level technological innovation platforms with the greatest influence in China. It is jointly awarded by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the General Administration of Customs and the State Taxation Administration. The process of recognition and review is very strict. Enterprises are comprehensively and systematically evaluated based on a number of comprehensive indicators of technological innovation, including technological innovation mechanism, innovative technology reserve, talent reserve, technological innovation output and benefit, etc. The evaluation results comprehensively and objectively reflect enterprises’ involvement in scientific and technological activities and their capacity of independent innovation.
Up to now, there are 1,480 National Enterprise Technology Centers in China, including 33 in Shenzhen. Among the 111 National Enterprise Technology Centers newly recognized in 2018 (the 25th batch), only 6 from Guangdong Province (excluding Shenzhen) and only 2 from Shenzhen.
The title “National Enterprise Technology Center” is the recognition of CYG SUNRI's first-class scientific and technological innovation capability and technical level by the national authoritative departments, indicating that CYG SUNRI has been deeply integrated into the national technological innovation system and stepped on the national-level innovation platform.
