Scope I: Direct GHG emissions by the Company Direct GHG emissions come from emission sources owned or controlled by the company, such as boilers, furnaces, vehicles and daily operating equipment owned or controlled by the Company.
Scope II: Direct GHG emissions from input energy, which are emissions generated by the use of purchased energy in the course of operation by units owned or controlled by the Company. The most common examples are emissions from purchased electricity, heat and steam for self-use.
Scope III: Indirect GHG emissions by the Company, excluding those covered by Scope II. This is usually an optional report. Emissions in Scope III come from units that are owned or controlled by other subsidiaries of the Company within its business scope.
