On December 1st, the Smart Energy Demonstration Project of Peking University Science Park undertaken by CYGSUNRI was officially connected to the grid and put into operation after the whole process of exploration, design, construction, commissioning and acceptance were completed. After the completion of the project, it can make full use of the roof resources in the Park to respond to the "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality " policy and achieve energy conservation and emission reduction, and initially meet the charging demand of new energy vehicles of the enterprises in the park.
In this project, CYGSUNRI provided a complete set of products and services, including PV modules, energy storage, charging piles, intelligent energy management, design services, construction and commissioning services, etc. Th 627.9 kWp PV roof system, the 500kW/1MWh energy storage system and 6x 7kW AC charging piles were finally completed and delivered, realizing intelligent dispatching and integrated monitoring of energy in the Park.
The project will bring the following social benefits and values:
● Support the national "3060" carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goal; It is estimated that the project will reducing carbon emission by 756 tons every year, creating green energy value to the society.
● The application of the energy storage system can assist the power grid to realize peak-load shifting, relieve the pressure of the power grid during peak period, and it also can be used as an emergency power supply to ensure the orderly operation of the Park, providing more derivative services for the enterprises in the Park, and creating value for them and the Park.
● The application of the charging piles will improve the service content of the Park, respond to the charging demand of electric vehicles of the enterprise and employees, and reduces the carbon emissions by the vehicles in the Park.
