stations are connected to the power grid, and the capacity and
complexity of power grid continue to increase. The original power and
voltage control methods of telephone communication and manual operation
gradually fail to meet the demand. The wind and PV power generation is
fluctuating, which can easily destroy the real-time balance of power
grid, affect the safe operation of power grid, and generate many
problems to the safe dispatch of power grid. Moreover, the capacity of a
single unit of wind and PV power generation is small, and there are a
number of units, which involve relatively broad distribution and
difficult manual control. Therefore, by connecting to the AGC control
system, the overall stability of the wind power plant and PV power plant
connected to power grid can be maintained, the absorption capacity of
wind and PV power generation is improved, and the continuous and stable
operation of the wind turbine and inverter can be ensured without being
disconnected from the grid.The PRS-7000AGC control system is an
automatic active power control system developed by CYG SUNRI. Through
system integration and optimization, with the active power of grid
connection point as the control target, this system comprehensively
considers the topological relationship and various safety constraints of
equipment, and calculates the control strategy online according to the
